“Through my years as an auditor with the State of Texas, I noticed how difficult it was for tax departments to keep up with managing their certificates. Usually audits cover a period of 3 or 4 years, and if the certificates were not found, tax liabilities became larger and larger. Sometimes the companies had sophisticated programs, but lacked the manpower to keep up with them; it would be the last thing to do in an already busy environment. This is why I believe that providing the service to maintain the certificates handy is essential to run a smoother department and avoid tax liabilities. “
